Our History

A sartorial duo born in Milano in 2020 from the idea of Pietro Montanelli and Alessandro Piacenza, expertise in menswear, with a particular focus on Made to Measure. Inspiring the two young founders was an unconventional approach to classic tailoring principles and the desire to create a made to measure wardrobe, made AdHoc for whoever commissions it. Manufacturing expertise merges with contemporary needs; aesthetics meet functionality through the highest production quality

About us

Alessandro Piacenza

I was born in Milano on December 25th 1982. My career in the clothing industry starts immediately after my studies, taking my first steps as a shop assistant in a menswear store. From there, my career saw steady growth in the commercial sector,collaborating with Milanese fashion companies and multi brand showrooms. My professional path was further established at Corneliani, one of the most prestigious and internationally recognized names in luxury menswear. This experience allowed me to travel across Italy, gaining exposure to a wide variety of retail environments. During this time, I had the opportunity to work closely with leading experts in formal wear, deepening my knowledge of tailoring standards, the culture of made to measure, and the diverse nuances of the ceremonial world.

Pietro Montanelli

Pietro Montanelli, born in Como on March 22nd 1994. I have always cultivated a deep passion for menswear, with a particular focus on the tailoring world and the art of made to measure. My professional journey began at age 19 at Suitsupply, an experience that allowed me not only to grow within the sector but also to work abroad, broadening my international vision. Following this, I joined Ermenegildo Zegna, where I served as Head of Made to Measure Abroad for the Wholesale market. My final step before entering entrepreneurship was at Corneliani, where I took on the role of Export Commercial Director and Head of Made to Measure. It was here that I met Alessandro Piacenza, my future business partner, with whom I co-founded AdHoc Milano. Alongside my work, my great passions are sports, particularly football ( with a special love for AC Milan) and tennis, which I play every time I can.
